With thanks to our event sponsor Rodgers Reidy, WIRQ is pleased to invite you to our annual Great Debate! We have stacked the affirmative and negative teams with Brisbane’s Insolvency & Restructuring elite, to debate the topic: A shark would beat an insolvency practitioner in a fight.
Will Macintosh, Barrister, 35 West Chambers; Jessie Raynor, Associate, K2 Law and Riley McDermott, Senior Associate, Thynne + Macartney.
Versus
Chris Baskerville, Partner, Jirsch Sutherland; Florence Chen, Barrister, Level 27 Chambers and Beau Foley, Associate, Gadens.
This year the Great Debate will be in support of the not-for-profit, BlackDog Institute. Black Dog Institute is Australia’s only medical research institute for investigating mental health across the lifespan. Its purpose is to ensure that important research findings are rapidly translated into improved mental health policy both locally and nationally. It does this through ‘translational’ research - integrating its research studies, education programs, digital tools and apps, clinical services, and public resources to discover new solutions, foster connections and create real-world change.
